# Stock badge

## Operation:

The stock status badge is dynamically integrated into the portal and accurately reflects the current stock status of each item. It uses an intuitive color system to quickly indicate whether stock is sufficient, low, or depleted.

<table><thead><tr><th>Status</th><th width="100">Badge</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Indicates that supplies are sufficient and there are no immediate supply problems.</td><td><img src="/files/iq2S30b6lAvsS0Eo2tR0" alt="" data-size="original"></td></tr><tr><td>Indicates that supplies are low or running low gone perhaps prompting the user to buy that plan.</td><td><img src="/files/vUdqaJ9F9WD5wUdstdxI" alt="" data-size="original"></td></tr><tr><td>Indicates that supplies are stock out.</td><td><img src="/files/yaa2STVgjsapeihnnEcr" alt="" data-size="original"></td></tr></tbody></table>

## Configuration

One of the key configuration options for the stock status badge is the ability to set a "minimum quantity" or "minimum threshold" that defines when items are considered to be in a "low stock" status.

In order to be able to change the threshold that we think goes into "low stock" we go into the portal configuration full path `admin panel > settings > configuration > portal`

From the portal we go to setting and find a field called minimum stock we choose the amount we want to set as the minimum and that's it. Basically, the minimum stock is set to 5<br>

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://modern-portal.docs.mrsl1d3r.com/configuration/stock-badge.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
